Long-running classic lineup: Mick Jagger (vocals), Keith Richards (guitar), Charlie Watts (drums, 1963-2021, died), and various bassists and second guitarists. Among the most commercially successful and influential rock bands in history.
Released 31 studio albums starting with the 1964 self-titled debut. Often cited as the "greatest rock and roll band in the world." Charlie Watts died in 2021; Steve Jordan has been the band's primary drummer since. Hackney Diamonds (2023) was their first studio album of original material in 18 years. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
