American pop-punk band formed in Sacramento, California in 1986 by Kepi Ghoulie (vocals, bass) and Roach (guitar). Drummer Wendy Powell joined in 1996. Distinguished by horror-movie themes, '60s pop melodies, and Ramones-influenced song structures.

Eight studio albums between 1989 and 2007 — including Born in the Basement (1994), Re-Animation Festival (1997), Travels with My Amp (2000), and Go! Stories (2002). Released primarily on Lookout! Records during the label's 1990s-2000s heyday. The band dissolved in 2007. Kepi Ghoulie continues as a solo artist.
