British-American rock band formed in London in 1967. The band has had many lineups; the most commercially successful version (1975-present) features Mick Fleetwood (drums), John McVie (bass), Christine McVie (keyboards/vocals, 1970-1998, 2014-2022), Lindsey Buckingham (guitar/vocals, 1975-1987, 1997-2018), and Stevie Nicks (vocals, 1975-present).

Eighteen studio albums total. The lineup's debut, Fleetwood Mac (1975), and follow-up Rumours (1977) made the band into one of the best-selling acts of all time — Rumours alone has sold over 40 million copies worldwide. Christine McVie died in 2022. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
