Same artist as Bob Marley & The Wailers — different Discogs/setlist.fm spelling variant. Jamaican reggae band formed in Kingston in 1963 by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer. The most commercially and culturally influential reggae act in history. Twelve studio albums between 1965 and 1980; Marley died of cancer in 1981. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
