The most demanding Rush record. Side one is the 18-minute "Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres" — the most prog they ever got; side two has "The Trees," "La Villa Strangiato," and "Circumstances." The album that nearly broke them — they reportedly almost quit during the sessions — and the album that prompted the deliberate course-correction that became Permanent Waves.
