The Other Ones

American rock band formed in 1998 by surviving Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann (with various guests including Steve Kimock and Mark Karan on guitars) — the first major touring project after Jerry Garcia's 1995 death. The lineup performed primarily Grateful Dead material plus a few originals.

The project ran 1998-2002 before transitioning into The Dead (2003-2009), Furthur (2009-2014), and Dead & Company (2015-present). Released the live album The Strange Remain (1999).
