The Dead Milkmen

American punk rock band formed in Philadelphia in 1983. Lineup: Rodney Anonymous (vocals), Joe Jack Talcum (guitar/vocals), Dave Blood (bass, 1983-2004), and Dean Clean (drums). Known for satirical lyrics and lo-fi production aesthetic.

Their 1988 single "Punk Rock Girl" from Beelzebubba became their best-known song. Eight studio albums including Big Lizard in My Backyard (1985), Bucky Fellini (1987), and Metaphysical Graffiti (1990). The band split in 1995; bassist Dave Blood died in 2004. Reunited in 2008 and has continued with bassist Dan Stevens.
