Long-running lineup centered on Jim Heath (vocals/guitar, the "Reverend Horton Heat") and Jimbo Wallace (upright bass, since 1989). Distinguished by Heath's virtuoso rockabilly guitar playing and high-octane live shows.

Released 12 studio albums between Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em (1991) and Whole New Life (2018). Commercial peak: Liquor in the Front (1994) and It's Martini Time (1996). One of the most consistent live acts in modern Americana/roots music.
