American punk rock band formed in Berkeley, California in 1991 by former Operation Ivy members Tim Armstrong (vocals/guitar) and Matt Freeman (bass). Lars Frederiksen (vocals/guitar) joined in 1993; Branden Steineckert replaced original drummer Brett Reed in 2006.

Their breakthrough came with ...And Out Come the Wolves (1995), which produced "Time Bomb," "Ruby Soho," and "Roots Radicals." Other notable releases include Let's Go (1994), Life Won't Wait (1998), and Indestructible (2003). Released primarily on Hellcat Records (Tim Armstrong's Epitaph imprint). Ten studio albums total.
