Junior Wells's working band for the landmark Hoodoo Man Blues (Delmark Records, 1965). The lineup included Junior Wells (vocals/harmonica), Buddy Guy (guitar, credited as "Friendly Chap" due to contractual issues with Chess Records), Jack Myers (bass), and Bill Warren (drums).
The album was the first Chicago blues LP recorded explicitly as an album rather than as a singles collection, and its sound has been widely cited as foundational to the modern Chicago blues sound.
