British musician born John Charles Julian Lennon on April 8, 1963, in Liverpool. Eldest son of John Lennon and Cynthia Lennon. Pursued a solo recording career starting in 1984 while contending with the unavoidable comparison to his father.
Released eight solo studio albums between Valotte (1984) and Jude (2022). Commercial peak: Valotte (1984, multi-platinum, featuring the title track and "Too Late for Goodbyes"). Subsequent work has incorporated more experimental electronic and acoustic elements. The 2022 cover of "Imagine" — recorded as a fundraiser for Ukrainian relief — was his first-ever recording of the song.
