American rock band led by B.E. Taylor (William Berton Edward Taylor, 1953-2016). The Pittsburgh-area band gained regional success in the early 1980s before B.E. Taylor transitioned to a long-running Christmas-concert career.
The B.E. Taylor Group's primary release was Innermission (1984), featuring the moderate hit "Vitamin L." The band continued to release material into the 1990s under the B.E. Taylor Group and B.E. Taylor names. Taylor died of brain cancer in 2016; tribute concerts featuring his backing band have continued.
