The Mark II reunion's second act, with the lineup tensions already audible — Blackmore and Gillan barely speaking by the end of the sessions. "Bad Attitude," "Call of the Wild," "Hard Lovin' Woman." Less inspired than Perfect Strangers but still a serviceable late-period record.
