San Diego: Boardwalk Rides, Sea World, and the Mission Beach Shore

The last leg of the trip took us down to San Diego, where we visited Belmont Park, the historic seaside amusement park right on Mission Beach. Wandering its boardwalk and taking in the classic beachfront atmosphere was a great way to soak up the coastal side of the city, and afterward we strolled along the beach right next to the park, enjoying the sand and surf of Mission Beach.

We also spent time at Sea World, a San Diego staple, taking in the marine life, shows, and exhibits. Between the boardwalk, the beach, and Sea World, San Diego was the perfect way to close out a week that had taken us from the magic of Disneyland all the way down the Southern California coast.
