Carlsbad: Legoland, Craft Beer, and In-N-Out

From Anaheim we made our way south to Carlsbad, where the big draw was Legoland California. It was a fun, colorful change of pace from the Disney parks, full of clever builds and rides that Preston especially enjoyed, and it made for a great day of exploring a park built entirely around those little bricks.

We rounded out our time in Carlsbad with some excellent food and drink. We sampled our way through a flight of beers at Pizza Port, soaking up the laid-back Southern California brewpub vibe, and of course we had to grab a bite at In-N-Out, that West Coast burger institution you can't visit California without hitting at least once.
