Thorpe Park: A High-Octane Grand Finale

We closed out the trip at Thorpe Park in Surrey, back toward London, and it was a thrilling grand finale. Billed as the UK's home of thrills, Thorpe Park delivered with an arsenal of big rides, including the then-new Stealth, which had opened earlier in 2006 and rocketed riders from zero to over 80 mph in seconds.

Between Stealth, the inverting Nemesis Inferno, and the ten-loop Colossus, Thorpe Park sent us off on an adrenaline high. It was the perfect high-octane end to an unforgettable ten days of coasters, seaside parks, and great company across the UK.
