Drayton Manor: A Family Park with Plenty of Punch

Not far from Alton Towers, we stopped in at Drayton Manor, a family-run park in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Drayton Manor brought a different energy from its famous neighbor, with rides like the looping Shockwave stand-up coaster and the water-drenched Stormforce 10 keeping us on our toes.

It made for a great contrast to the polished spectacle of Alton Towers, with a warm, welcoming feel all its own. We had a blast working through the rides and enjoying the more intimate scale of this long-standing Midlands favorite.
