A Day on the Slopes at Ski Santa Fe

While I was in Santa Fe for a SonicWall conference based at the Eldorado Hotel, my boss at the time and I carved out a day to escape the meeting rooms and head for the mountains. We made the drive up into the Sangre de Cristos to Ski Santa Fe, the ski area perched high above the city, for a day trip on the slopes.

It was a welcome change of pace from the conference schedule, swapping presentations and networking for fresh mountain air and time on the snow. Getting to experience the high desert peaks around Santa Fe made for a memorable break, and it turned an ordinary work trip into something a lot more fun.
