Wooden coaster at Belmont Park in San Diego, California, opened 1925. Designed by Frank Prior and Frederick Church. A surviving golden-age wooden coaster — listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. 73 feet tall, top speed 48 mph. Closed in the 1970s and restored to operation in 1990 by the Save the Coaster Committee.
