American hardcore band formed in Long Island, New York in 1992. Long-running lineup: Tim Williams (vocals), Mike Kennedy (guitar), Matt Baumbach (guitar), Mike Fleischmann (bass), and Brendon Cohen (drums). Considered foundational to the metalcore movement alongside Earth Crisis and Hatebreed.
Five studio albums between the 1996 self-titled debut and The Cursed Remain Cursed (2012). Best-known releases include Imprint (1998) and From Bliss to Devastation (2001). The band disbanded in 2002 and reunited in 2008. Williams has also led Bloodsimple and various other projects.
