American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1993. Long-running lineup: Emerson Hart (vocals/guitar), Jeff Russo (lead guitar), and Dan Lavery (bass). Distinguished by their post-grunge / power-pop hybrid sound.
Released four studio albums between Lemon Parade (1996) and Tonic (2010). Commercial peak: Lemon Parade (platinum-certified, featuring "If You Could Only See"). Russo has subsequently become a prominent film and TV composer (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery, Watchmen, etc.).
