Jamaican reggae singer and producer born December 16, 1948. Founding member of the Jamaicans (1965), the vocal trio that recorded the rocksteady hit "Things You Say You Love" (1968). Subsequently became a leading reggae producer and promoter — co-founder of Talent Corporation (which managed Bob Marley & the Wailers among others).
Member of Light of Saba (early 1970s) and the Sons of Negus before pursuing solo recording. Has continued performing and producing into the 2020s.
