American funk-rock band formed in St. Louis in 1987. Lineup: Steve Ewing (vocals), Bill Reiter (saxophone/keyboards), John Pessoni (drums), Matt Kwiatkowski (bass), and Karl Grable (guitar). Style fuses ska, funk, reggae, and rock.
Five studio albums between Magically Delicious (1992) and Make It Real (2014). Commercial peak: Master of Styles (1998, featuring "Jump Right In"). Released primarily on Epic and EastWest Records. Ewing has also pursued a solo career.
