American ska-punk band formed in Detroit in 1991. Long-running lineup: Jay Navarro (vocals, 1991-2002, 2005-present), Dan Lukacinsky (guitar), Royce Nunley (bass, 1996-present), and Ryan Vandeberghe (drums). Style draws on hardcore punk, ska, and pop-punk.
Seven studio albums starting with Destruction by Definition (1996). Best-known releases include Battle Hymns (1998) and The Suicide Machines (2000). The band briefly broke up in 2006 and reformed in 2009.
