American ska band formed in Long Island, New York in 1988. Long-running lineup centered on "Black Pope" Sammy (vocals) and brass section including Buford O'Sullivan (trombone). Distinguished by their traditional second-wave-style ska in the vein of the Skatalites rather than the punk-ska of the 1990s third-wave revival.
Released four studio albums between The Scofflaws (1991) and Live Vol. 2 (2002). Released primarily on Moon Ska Records.
