American rock band formed in Detroit in 1977. Original lineup: Wally Palmar (vocals/rhythm guitar), Mike Skill (guitar/bass), Rich Cole (bass/guitar), and Jimmy Marinos (drums/vocals). Distinguished by power-pop hooks, matching red leather suits, and a 1960s British Invasion influence.
Six studio albums starting with the 1980 self-titled debut. Best-known singles include "What I Like About You" (1980) and "Talking in Your Sleep" (1983, from In Heat). The band cycled through lineup changes and litigation over royalties for much of the 1990s and 2000s. Reunited in the original-lineup configuration in 2007.
