American garage rock band formed in South Bend, Indiana in 1962. Long-running lineup historically featured Marty Fortson (vocals/saxophone) and Joe Pennell (lead guitar). Distinguished by their two top-40 instrumental and vocal hits during the mid-1960s.

Best-known recording: "California Sun" (1964), a top-five US hit that became a definitive surf/garage-rock track and was covered by the Ramones in 1977. The band dissolved in 1966 amid lineup shifts and a member's Vietnam-era draft notice.
