American rock band formed in New York City in 2009. Long-running lineup centered on Taylor Momsen (vocals, b. July 26, 1993, formerly an actress on Gossip Girl). Distinguished by Momsen's powerful vocals and the band's classic-hard-rock style drawing on Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, and the Stooges.
