The Mr. T Experience

American pop-punk band formed in Berkeley, California in 1985 by Dr. Frank (Frank Portman, vocals/guitar). Long associated with Lookout! Records during the label's 1990s heyday alongside Green Day, Operation Ivy, and Screeching Weasel.

Twelve studio albums between 1986 and 2020. Best-known releases include Our Bodies, Our Selves (1993), Love Is Dead (1996), and Revenge Is Sweet, and So Are You (1997). Portman has been the band's only continuous member and is also a young-adult novelist (King Dork, 2006).
