The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

American ska-punk band formed in Boston in 1983. Long-running lineup centered on vocalist Dicky Barrett, bassist Joe Gittleman, and saxophonist Tim "Johnny Vegas" Burton. Pioneers of "ska-core" — the fusion of ska's brass and offbeat rhythms with hardcore punk's tempo and aggression.

Their commercial peak came with Let's Face It (1997), which produced the single "The Impression That I Get" (top-30 in the US). Subsequent releases include Pay Attention (2000), A Jackknife to a Swan (2002), and Pin Points and Gin Joints (2009). The band dissolved in January 2022.
