American mathcore band formed in Morris Plains, New Jersey in 1997. Long-running lineup centered on guitarist Ben Weinman and vocalist Greg Puciato (2001-2017). Distinguished by highly technical, dissonant arrangements and physically extreme live performances.
Six studio albums between Calculating Infinity (1999) and Dissociation (2016). The band announced their dissolution in 2016 with the release of their final album; their final tour ended in late 2017. Considered a defining influence on mathcore and post-hardcore subgenres.
