American stoner rock band formed in Neptune, New Jersey in 1992 by guitarist Ed Mundell (also of Monster Magnet at the time). Long-running lineup also includes bassist/vocalist Chris Kosnik and drummer Bob Pantella. Style typified by extended instrumental passages and improvisational elements.
Six studio albums between 1999 and 2017, including the self-titled debut (1999), II (2000), and Force Field (2017). Mundell departed in 2008 to focus on Monster Magnet; replaced by Finn Ryan and later Garrett Sweeny. Active continuously.
