Touring band led by English producer and musician Alan Parsons. Parsons launched the Alan Parsons Project in 1975 with Eric Woolfson as a studio-only collaboration; after Woolfson's 2009 death, Parsons reorganized the touring entity as the Alan Parsons Live Project.
The Project's studio catalog spans 11 albums between Tales of Mystery and Imagination (1976) and The Time Machine (1999). Commercial peak: The Turn of a Friendly Card (1980) and Eye in the Sky (1982, featuring the title track). The live project has continued touring with Parsons as the centerpiece since the original Project's dissolution.
