American blues and soul guitarist and singer-songwriter born November 9, 1970, in Boston, Massachusetts. Married to Derek Trucks (member of the Allman Brothers Band) since 2001; together they lead the Tedeschi Trucks Band (2010-present).
Released six solo studio albums between Better Days (1995) and Back to the River (2008) before largely transitioning to Tedeschi Trucks Band work. Six Grammy nominations as a solo artist; Tedeschi Trucks Band won the 2012 Grammy for Best Blues Album for Revelator.
