Northern Irish punk rock band formed in Belfast in 1977. Long-running lineup historically centered on Jake Burns (vocals/guitar). Distinguished by their politically charged lyrics directly addressing the Northern Ireland Troubles.
Released 11 studio albums between Inflammable Material (1979) and No Going Back (2014). The 1979 debut was the first independently released album to reach the UK Top 20 (#14). Critical peaks: Inflammable Material and Nobody's Heroes (1980). The band has been continuously touring since their 1987 reunion.
