American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (born Stevland Hardaway Morris, 1950). Signed to Motown's Tamla label at age 11 in 1961 as "Little Stevie Wonder"; has been with the label ever since.
His "classic period" (1972-1976) produced Music of My Mind (1972), Talking Book (1972), Innervisions (1973), Fulfillingness' First Finale (1974), and the double album Songs in the Key of Life (1976). Won Album of the Year three times in four years. Continued releasing albums through A Time to Love (2005) and singles thereafter. Twenty-five Grammy Awards — the most for any solo artist. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
