American glam metal band formed in Las Vegas in 1988 by vocalist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum after the death of their previous singer Vinnie Vincent (formerly of KISS). The band emerged at the tail end of the LA hair-metal boom.

Their 1990 debut Stick It to Ya sold over 2 million copies on the strength of "Up All Night" and "Fly to the Angels." Subsequent releases (The Wild Life, 1992; Fear No Evil, 1995; Revolution, 1997) did not match the breakthrough; the grunge era effectively ended the band's commercial momentum. Five studio albums total. The band has performed periodic reunion tours.
