American Christian rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. Long-running lineup centered on married couple John Cooper (vocals/bass) and Korey Cooper (rhythm guitar/keyboards), plus Seth Morrison (lead guitar) and Jen Ledger (drums/vocals). Among the most commercially successful Christian rock acts of the 2000s and 2010s.
Released 11 studio albums between Skillet (1996) and Revolution (2024). Commercial peak: Awake (2009, double-platinum, featuring "Monster" and "Hero") and Rise (2013).
