Irish singer-songwriter born Sinéad Lohan on August 9, 1971, in Cork. Distinguished by her acoustic folk-rock style and her late-1990s commercial peak on Interscope/Grapevine Records.
Released two studio albums: Who Do You Think I Am (1995) and No Mermaid (1998). Best-known recording: "No Mermaid" (1998). Withdrew from the music industry in the early 2000s and has not released new material since.
