American metalcore band formed in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1996. Long-running lineup centered on Brian Fair (vocals, joined 1999). Distinguished by their fusion of melodic metalcore with thrash metal and their long-running role as one of the bands in the early-2000s "New Wave of American Heavy Metal."
Released seven studio albums between Somber Eyes to the Sky (2000) and Fire from the Sky (2012). Critical peak: The Art of Balance (2002) and The War Within (2004). On hiatus since 2014.
