American post-hardcore band formed in Tacoma, Washington in 1989. Long-running lineup centered on Aaron Stauffer (vocals). Distinguished by their melodic-hardcore approach drawing on Hüsker Dü and Dinosaur Jr.
Released six studio albums between Despised (1991) and Actions and Indications (1995). Released on Sub Pop and (briefly) Hollywood Records. The band has been intermittently active since the late 1990s.
