American psychobilly trio formed in Dallas, Texas in 1985. Lineup of Jim Heath (vocals/guitar, the "Reverend"), Jimbo Wallace (bass), and various drummers — most notably Scott Churilla (1995-2013) and Arjuna "RJ" Contreras (2017-present). The band's sound fuses rockabilly, surf, punk, and country.
Twelve studio albums on labels including Sub Pop, Interscope, and Yep Roc — among them Smoke 'em If You Got 'em (1991), Liquor in the Front (1994), Lucky 7 (2002), and Whole New Life (2018). The band has toured continuously since its formation.
