Canadian punk rock band formed in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba in 1986. Long-running lineup centered on Chris Hannah (vocals/guitar) and Jord Samolesky (drums). Distinguished by their explicitly political lyrics (anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, animal rights, queer rights) and their increasing technical proficiency across their catalog.
Released eight studio albums between How to Clean Everything (1993) and At Peace (2024). Critical peak: Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes (2001), Potemkin City Limits (2005), and Supporting Caste (2009). Released primarily on Fat Wreck Chords and the band's own G7 Welcoming Committee Records.
