English DJ and music producer born August 30, 1963, in Greenhithe, Kent. Among the most influential trance and progressive house DJs of the 1990s and 2000s. His Cream residency in Liverpool helped establish the British superclub-DJ model that came to define electronic dance music for two decades.
Released six studio albums starting with Bunkka (2002, featuring "Starry Eyed Surprise"). Has produced and remixed for U2, Madonna, the Rolling Stones, Snoop Dogg, and many others. Composed the soundtrack to the Swordfish (2001) film.
