Canadian rock band formed in 1976 by guitarist Pat Travers (b. April 12, 1954, Toronto). Lineup historically featured Pat Thrall (guitar) and Tommy Aldridge (drums) during the late-1970s commercial peak.
Released over 20 studio albums starting with Pat Travers (1976). Best-known recording: "Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights)" (1979, a John Lee Hooker cover), from Live! Go for What You Know. Travers continues to perform with rotating personnel and has released multiple albums into the 2020s.
