American folk-rock duo formed in Cincinnati in 1989 by Karin Bergquist (vocals) and Linford Detweiler (multi-instrumentalist). The duo are married and have collaborated continuously since formation. Initial lineup included other members; the band became a primary duo by the early 2000s.
Released 16 studio albums starting with Til We Have Faces (1991). Best-known releases include Good Dog Bad Dog (1996), Films for Radio (2001), and Drunkard's Prayer (2005). Released primarily on independent labels; the duo's Nowhere Else Festival has drawn fans to their southwestern Ohio farm property each summer since 2014.
