Touring and recording collaboration between Neil Young (Canadian-American singer-songwriter, b. November 12, 1945) and the American country-rock band Promise of the Real, led by Lukas Nelson (son of Willie Nelson). The collaboration ran from 2014 to 2019.
Released The Monsanto Years (2015), Earth (2016), and The Visitor (2017) as Neil Young + Promise of the Real, plus the live release Paradox (2018, the soundtrack to the Daryl Hannah-directed film of the same name). Young returned to his earlier touring partners after the 2019 amicable end of the collaboration.
