Released 11 studio albums (often with washboard player Skid Roper) between Mojo Nixon & Skid Roper (1985) and Whiskey Rebellion (2009). Best-known songs include "Elvis Is Everywhere" (1987), "Don Henley Must Die" (1990), and "Burn Down the Malls" (1989). Died at age 66 of a cardiac event while on the Outlaw Country Cruise.
