Released 13 studio albums between Plantation Lullabies (1993) and No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin (2024). Critical peaks: Peace Beyond Passion (1996), Bitter (1999), and Comet, Come to Me (2014). Won the 2024 Grammy for Best Alternative Jazz Album for The Omnichord Real Book (2023).
