American power-pop band formed in Boston in 1990. Long-running lineup centered on Kay Hanley (vocals) and Greg McKenna (guitar). Distinguished by Hanley's bright pop vocals and the band's appearance in the 1999 teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You.
Four studio albums between Aurora Gory Alice (1993) and Go! (1997), with reunion EPs starting in 2016. Best-known single: "Here & Now" (1994, featured on the Melrose Place soundtrack). Hanley has also done extensive voice work for Doc McStuffins and other Disney productions.
